Okinawa Collective is the U.S. brand of EFLabo Co., Ltd., a company based in Osaka, Japan. Since 2023, we have worked directly with producers in Japan's southernmost islands to bring Yaeyama specialties — beginning with Chura Kokuto, our single-origin black sugar from Iriomote Island — to the U.S. market.

While our company is based in Osaka, our products come from the Yaeyama Islands — Japan's southernmost and westernmost frontier. Okinawa Collective exists to carry what we discovered there to tables across the U.S.

EFLabo is a participant in the JAPAN STORE program, a joint initiative by Amazon and JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) supporting Japanese exporters on Amazon.com.
